Dr Monet Sexauer is licensed as an Acupuncture Physician in the state of Florida as well as California.  She specializes in both Orthopedics and Reproductive Medicine and, is the first practitioner in Sarasota to be Board Certified in Reproductive Oriental Medicine from American Board or Reproductive Medicine (ABORM).  

In addition to the Graduate Program along with doctoral studies in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Five Branches University in Silicon Valley, she has a BS in Premed/ Biomedical Sciences.  Monet did an additional year of work with psychology, nature, and the Five Elements at Tai Sophia Institute and completed the program at The Tamalpa Institute on Movement Based Expressive Arts therapy and Somatic Psychology. 

She marries her deep love for the visceral exploration of the mind and body to her love of detail and science. 

Her interest in Pregnancy and Fertility began with her birth doula certification with Doulas of North America (DONA)  in 2005 and her work as a volunteer doula in the city of Philadelphia with the Philadelphia Alliance of Labor Support (PALS).  She continued this work as a volunteer at the Bumi Sehat clinic in Bali where she studied with Robin Lim among othering inspiring midwives.  After graduate school, she worked as an acupuncturist inside Pacific Fertility Center in San Francisco and was a founding member of the Integrative Fertility Network which provided fertility care both on and off site to women undergoing IVF.
